About Us
Founded in 1991 by local attorneys, DELAA focuses on legal issues relating to aging and disability.  This includes both general probate issues as well as estate planning and administration, guardianships, asset protection, disability planning, trusts, Medicare and Medicaid services, veterans benefits, housing, long term care services, Social Security disability, tax benefits, legal services, transportation, mental health programs, long term care insurance, protective services and home help.  DELAA's  main goal is to provide a valuable resource for professionals who practice in these areas.

Membership Requirements
 

Membership is available to any attorney licensed by the State of Texas to practice law and who is currently in good standing with the State Bar of Texas.

 

Student Membership is available for students currently enrolled in an accredited law school.  For information regarding student membership, please contact the student liaison.
